Wil's weekly wrap...
This is the culmination of the first week of "Just one thing..." posts.
Seems to be working pretty well. Why did I start writing in single, short bursts?
David Perrell talks a lot about writing online. While I've been writing online for a long time, I don't think I've really found my voice. Or my topic. Or my niche. Or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
Maybe my initial idea of writing online was long-form articles. Maybe I was trying to prove something? Maybe I was trying to force a habit that just wasn't there?
I want to answer these questions, and these daily pieces are helping me think more clearly and creatively.
Here are the posts from this week with a short summary:
Jul 1, 2022. Digital advertising: Short-term complications and long-term reputation loss.
Jun 30, 2022. The dumbest uses of media resources.
Jun 29, 2022. Who do marketers receive these consumer profiles from? Do they have access to this data, too? What are they doing with that data?
Jun 28, 2022. Lol. What an entitled prick.
Jun 27, 2022. A terrific way to understand so many cultures.
Jun 26, 2022. This is why baseball continues to be America's pastime.
Jun 25, 2022. Since technology is in nearly every single thing we do these days, I suppose this applies to any and every discipline.
(In looking back, maybe I need some tags to better highlight which topic these are focused on, especially since the titles are all the same?)
I tried infrared photography this past week. Kinda cool.
